Andrew Cuomo Announces His Candidacy for Mayor of New York City
NEW YORK – Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is attempting a political comeback by announcing his candidacy for Mayor of New York City.
Cuomo, who resigned in 2021 following allegations of sexual harassment, is joining the race to succeed current Mayor Eric Adams, who himself is under federal investigation for corruption.
