Nassau Legislator Carriè Solages Joins Forces with TrendCatch to Support and Inform Immigrant Communities Across Long Island
Nassau County, NY – June 19, 2025 – Nassau County Legislator Carriè Solages has partnered with TrendCatch, a cutting-edge community information and advertising platform, to expand educational outreach across immigrant communities in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Through this partnership, TrendCatch’s digital liveboards—already present in high-traffic locations—will now serve as vital tools for sharing accurate and accessible information about immigrant rights, protections, and civic participation. The initiative will ensure that immigrants are informed of their rights during ICE encounters and understand what to say or do when approached for questioning or information.
“In a time when disinformation and fear can easily spread, it’s more important than ever to equip our communities with real-time, trusted knowledge,” said Legislator Solages. “TrendCatch’s wide network of screens allows us to reach people where they are—on the street, in local stores, at transit hubs—with life-saving information.”
TrendCatch will collaborate with community organizations, legal advocates, and immigrant rights groups to deliver multilingual, culturally sensitive content that includes:
•What to do if ICE stops or questions you
•Your legal rights in public and private spaces
•Where to find legal assistance and support services
•Civic engagement and TPS (Temporary Protected Status) awareness
The campaign also complements current efforts such as the Stories of Belonging TPS Workers Exhibit, helping to reinforce the message that immigrants are an essential part of America’s social and economic fabric.
This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to empower, protect, and uplift Long Island’s immigrant populations through smart technology and community-driven outreach.
