In a fiery on-camera statement Monday, former President Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden’s team following the shocking revelation of Biden’s aggressive prostate cancer, diagnosed with a Gleason score of 9, a high-risk indicator that the cancer could have been growing for years.
“How did this go undetected? Why didn’t the public know?” Trump asked from the Oval Office. “To get to stage nine, that’s a long time,” he added. He misidentified the Gleason score as a cancer stage but emphasized his main point: “Somebody is not telling the facts.”
The 78-year-old former president called out Biden’s former White House physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, who in February 2024 gave Biden a clean bill of health. There was no mention of prostate issues, and surprisingly, no PSA test was conducted—a routine check for men Biden’s age.
Trump also questioned Biden’s mental fitness. “Why wasn’t cognitive ability discussed?” he asked. “If that’s the same doctor who said there were no concerns, someone needs to ask serious questions.”
Critics have since accused the Biden administration of withholding critical health information, particularly in light of Biden’s public gaffes, such as forgetting the late Rep. Jackie Walorski during a live event. These incidents have sparked renewed concerns about his cognitive condition.
“This is dangerous for our country,” Trump declared. “The American people deserve honesty, especially from their president and his doctors.”
Top medical experts are also raising alarms, calling Biden’s diagnosis timeline “inconceivable.” Some believe the cancer may have been present throughout his entire presidency, fueling debate over the transparency of his medical disclosures.
Biden, in response, issued an emotional statement on social media, saying, “We are strongest in the broken places.”
However, questions continue to mount across the country.
Is this a case of medical oversight or something more serious? This story is still unfolding. Stay tuned for updates.
