Trump’s Team Gets Creative to Boost Birth Rates and It’s Straight Out of History Books!
With birth rates steadily plummeting in the U.S., the White House is scrambling to find ways to get women to have more babies. From offering $5,000 cash bonuses to awarding a “National Medal of Motherhood” for moms with six or more kids, President Trump’s team has some wild ideas in the works. But here’s the kicker, some of these plans sound like they came straight out of Hitler and Stalin’s playbooks!
That’s right. Back in the 1930s, Hitler’s Nazi Germany awarded medals to mothers who had lots of kids (only if they were “German” kids, of course). The “Cross of Honour of the German Mother” had different tiers: bronze for four or five kids, silver for six or seven, and gold for eight or more. Stalin later followed suit with his “Order of Maternal Glory,” which awarded mothers with up to ten children the title of “Mother Heroine.” Talk about a gold star for parenting!
Fast forward to today, and Trump’s administration is considering some equally bold incentives, including 30% of prestigious Fulbright scholarships going to married people or those with kids. Oh, and don’t forget the proposal to teach women about their menstrual cycles to help them time their baby-making to perfection.
But the real headline-grabber? Trump’s self-proclaimed title as “The Fertilization President” has the internet buzzing. With his push for a new “baby boom,” Trump is doubling down on “pronatalism”—the movement encouraging more children and larger families. His team includes heavy hitters like Elon Musk (who has 14 kids) and VP J.D. Vance, all backing this wild new vision for America’s future.
While some are excited about these bold moves to boost birth rates, others worry that non-traditional families might be left out of the picture. Medical experts are also questioning whether focusing on natural cycles rather than modern IVF practices is the right approach.
Is this the baby boom the country needs, or is it a controversial throwback to a darker chapter of history? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure, this plan is sparking some serious conversation!
