PROGRAM OFFERINGS:

  • Financial Assistance: The program covers all tuition, training, books, and administrative fees—ensuring students can focus on their educational goals rather than the financial burden.
  • Program Resources and Support Services: The program offers individual case management support, tutoring, test preparation, and career counseling.
  • Job Placement Assistance: Upon completion of the program, all participants will receive assistance in securing a full-time position with family-sustaining wages.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Enrollment: To join the CPT program, you must enroll or expedite completion in one of the 13 target healthcare programs. (see Target Occupations)
  • Completion Commitment: You must complete your program within three years or by the end of 2027.
  • Service Commitment: You must commit to a three-year service agreement, working for a healthcare provider in New York State that serves a patient population that is at least 30% Medicaid-reliant or uninsured.

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT)
  • Community Health Worker (CHW)
  • Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Master of Social Work (MSW)
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Patient Care Coordinator
  • Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Registered Nurse (AAS, BSN, RN to BSN)
  • Respiratory Therapist (RT)
